My Golden Hammer won't work in the Vault ...

Does anyone else have this problem, or rather, is this the same for everyone? In challenges in the vault I have one Golden Hammer left. I'm trying to use it to crack open the clear boss battles on intense difficulty challenge but it won't work. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do it because it's so ridiculously hard on intense. I've been able to clear 8 bosses and it's just driving me nuts. Does anyone know why the Golden Hammer won't work for this challenge?My Golden Hammer won't work in the Vault ...

You can't use a Golden Hammer on certain challenges, like the one you tried it on. I just beat Boss Battles on Intense eventually.
How do you actually earn golden hammers?
I finally beat it after a lot of swearing and thrown controllers. Snake ftw.Actually, I've clearrd all but Collect All Stickers without using a single hammer. I don't know if i'll ever end up getting that cause I've been too busy playing other games lately. If I spent 50+ hours just getting the last 50 stickers I could probably do it, but I would rather just use those 50+ hours playing GTA4, MGS4, or something like that.

That's what I used my last hammer for, was the challenge for collecting all stickers. It was either that or use it for the challenge for getting 2,000 K-O's from Brawls but I almost have enough K-O's anyways so it would've been a waste. It didn't even give me the rest of the stickers that I needed, all it gave me was the sticker trophy so I still need to collect all the stickers anyway. I find that odd because I used a hammer to complete the challenge for doing 400 plus combos in training mode. Then when I went back to check the characters every character had a certain amount of combos done, even characters I hadn't done it with yet. I feel like I wasted my last hammer. I guess I'm just gonna have to keep trying until I can beat boss battles on intense.
You cant use the hammer for every challange
How cruel that the challenges I can't seem to finish are the very same that the golden hammer won't break. :-(

They should of made it so that you could use more than one on a block. So say you need 3 to break ''Beat Boss Battles on Intense'', then you can use 3 to break it. I just means that you have to use more hammers to break it, but you can still do it.
Ya ,you can only use the hammer on some things. I Beat most my challenges on my own. I've been trying to beat Tabuu on intense. If i beat that then i can do the other challengegs!
You can't use them in some challenges. I know, that is probably the hardest challenge to fullfill.
Yeah that one is tough. I managed to do it after alot of strain with the awesome might that is the PUFF. Jigglypuff FTW!!!I've managed to unlock all the challenges. It took a really long time but you'll eventually do it. Keep at it.
