SSBB wiimote + nunchuck option question

So in a few days SSBB is FINALLY coming to Europe. But Iv heard that the Gamecube controller is the only good controller option for this game. I have never played a SSB game before (Yes its true). Do people say that the GCC option is best cause they are used to it? So it shouldn't effect me, should it? If I buy the game Im gonna use the wiimote and nunchuck. How does it work for you all? Im gonna have to use it cause I don't own a GC controller...SSBB wiimote + nunchuck option question
My friends who never owned a GC but own a Wii use the wiimote/chuck combo too. It's fine if you're not used to the Cube one. It's not bad, by any means, but I perfer the Cube controller or the Classic Controller. It's possible that this is just because I'm used to those. Try a classic controller too and see what you like the best. There are no wrong answers (except for sideways wiimote)SSBB wiimote + nunchuck option question
I tried it, and it feels wonky. I have a classic and GC pad too, but the GC one feels the best. Plays exactly like Melee. Try all of the schemes if you can, and if you don't like the layout, you can change it how you want it.
I whip out the 'mote and flip it to the side!Haha I sound like an idiot... But seriously, I don't like playing with an analog stick because I sprint when I don't want to and don't sprint when I want to. Yeah, I know. I'm weird.
I played SSBM extensively, but I use the Wiimote-Nunchuk combo for SSBB and it works just fine after some getting used to. I'm with the guy that says the only BAD way to play is with the sideways Wiimote.
the GC controller is my fav, 'cause im used to it, and its rumble its actually a rumble.but the wiimote + nunchuck is te second best combo, the one my friends use.JUSTDONTTURNSHAKE SMASHONwhy? 'cause it makes smashes go on the wrong directions 80% of the time (even when you are NOT shake smashing)
The Wiimote+Nunchuck is perfectly fine.

So is the Wiimote on its side.

I can't vouch for the Classic Controller.
I use the wiimote+nunchuck combo, I was never really good with the gcn controller.
Looking at the replies I got, it doesnt look like Im gonna have a huge problem. Thanks everyone! ;)
I loved Smash 64 and Melee but I have only used the Nunchuk + Wiimote combo for Brawl. I might even like it better because of the freedom using the nunchuk to move your character. You'll have no problem especially since you have no affinity for the G cube controller.
Oh one more question. Is there vibration in the Wiimote when using it to play SSBB?
they should make 64 controllers compatible.

I use the Remote/Nunchuck combo and it's actually quite comfortable.
