buying a wii please help

there's only 1 version. the only difference you might find with newer wiis is that wii sports comes in a cardboard sleeve rather than the plastic case of earlier wiis. your wii remote will also come bundled with a wii condom in newer wiisbuying a wii please help

The Wii will come with most everything you need to get started, but you will probably want to buy a second remote right away so you can play two player Wii Sports games. I would suggest that you purchase Wii Play, which comes with a remote, and also gives you a few more games to play. You will still need to buy a second nunchuk to go with the remote. A set of rechargable batteries would also be a good move. I feel those are the basic needs to have when you first get a Wii.

[/QUOTE]:lol::lol: they really should have put that disclaimer on the box.
I'd pass on Wii Play and just buy a second remote and nunchuck. Sure it's a $10 game packaged with a remote, but if you don't get it, that's $10 you'll save on a game that you most likely will only play once.
