Nyko LAN adapter

I just bought a Nyko LAN adapter for my Wii so I can use the net on it, but it won't work. I get an error code that tells me it doesn't know that it is connected, but it is. Help, please?Nyko LAN adapter
Bump. >_>Nyko LAN adapter
Next time don't buy third party accessories.
Try getting your money back on it and buy an official Nintendo LAN adapter.
Try getting your money back on it and buy an official Nintendo LAN adapter.
^ what he said, buy the official one for $25 instead of getting ripped off on 3rd party accessories
They don't sell the official ones here in Canada. >_>
Also, I have Norton 360 on my computer if that means anything.
Or get the wireless usb adaptor
About the wireless adapter, how much does it cost? And how does it work?
For Wii LAN adapters to work, make sure that the LAN is plugged into the Ethernet port and that it is also plugged into the Wii before turning the system on. Also, if you are running through a router or if your Internet provider requires a MAC address for your systems/computers, look for the adapter's MAC address in the Wii menu (it's on the same page as the Wii's MAC address). Mine didn't work until I gave my Internet provider (which was the University I attend) the MAC address for my system and adapter. If that doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas.Oh, and the LAN adapter is much faster than the Wi-Fi adapter, unless you have that new-fangled super-high-speed Wi-Fi.
