I have a new Wii, and cannot find any ga ...

I may just return the Wii, as I haven't yet opened it. I bought it thinking I would like the wii mote for fps, but have been sorely disappointed. My friend has a Wii and rented several games and he also owns close to 20. I have played:smash brothers, Zelda, Guitar Hero, Mario Kart, Madden, metroid, Tiger Woods, Wii sports, Call of duty, medal of honor, mario party, wii play, sonic at the olympics, mario galaxy, and a few others.i kind of liked Mario Kart, Wii Play (duck game), and Wii sports (bowling). and that is it. I should not have bought this console. I am sure the games are good, but they just do not interest me. I do not like 3d platformers at all. I like the old mario games that scrolled left to right. Call me old school, but I haven't liked a mario game since SNES. I like strategy (command and conquer, age of empires, etc.), and first person shooters. There are no strategy games, and I think the Wii mote absolutely sucks for FPS. Your arm gets tired holding the controller up. I was looking into Medal of honor heroes 2 until I found out that there is no split screen play. That ruined that for me. I know how EA works, they run a server for multiplayer and then yank it after about a year. What fun is a FPS without multiplayer.Sorry for all the complaining, I should not have bought it in the first place. I have a new Wii, and cannot find any ga ...
hmm yeah. you should have played those games before you bought it. I have a new Wii, and cannot find any ga ...
well, when you are carrying a real gun and holding it up i'm sure your arm gets tired...anyway, nintendo has the virtual console, a channel where if you connect to the internet and buy wii points (100 points for 1 dollar), you can purchase old games, such as mario for the NES and SNES. i believe NES games range from 400 to 500 points, SNES games are like 700 to 800 points and the other systems fall somewhere among those, and N64 games are 1000 points (the most expensive games). you can buy point cards in a store such as bestbuy etc. or online with a credit cardE3 is right around the corner, where hopefully nintendo will announce more good titles
Keep looking there are plenty. But maybe before you bought the Wii, u should have put more thought into what games to get.

ROFL!!!
AHAHAHA I just saw that statement. I dont understand why people hold the wiimote so high up, my arm is barely in the air and it works perfectly for me. Also people like FPS on the Wii for the feel of actually holding a weapon well guess what the tired arms comes with the territory. In real life if you walking in a combat zone holdin a MF'n Ak-47 in your arms then guess what your arms are going to be tired too.
i feel your pain too, wii's library sucks ass. there's no denying it.if it wasn't for nintendo's 1st party titles (again, like the gamecube) the console would be worthless.only saving grace is the awesome virtual console and the 1st party titles, which are definately a redeeming factor since they are freaking awesome.if e3 08 brings nothing big to the table nintendo can kiss my ass. As well as every other console, nothing like having a leet computer to play everything on anyway.
I think the Wii mote absolutely sucks for FPS. Your arm gets tired holding the controller up.
Then maybe you should put your arm down? Why are you holding it up in the air anyways?
this could have just as easily been a blog post too. One could view it as flame bait considering you're bashing the wii on the wii board.
theres a lot more hard core games coming, just keep looking
Well, if your arm is tired just rest you arm down lower where it's comfortable and if need be move the sensor bar so aiming is easy. Now, if you love FPS that much, then you just invested in the wrong console, the Wii has plenty of great games that are always overlooked.
Alright, the dude made a crappy statement about his arm being tired cause he holds the wiimote in the air, people have different style's of play. Personally, I play wii with the wiimote behind-my-back-coming-up-from-between-my-legs style of play, its odd, but it works...Or, maybe he just cant find any decent FPS on wii (MOHH2 is fine IMO)
I don't see why you'd buy a system before even knowing what kinds of games it has to offer - oh wait, you already played quite a few games, and thought they weren't that good, and that still convinced you to buy a Wii?
So what do you want us to do? You don't really pose a question.

The Wii-mote weighs almost nothing. Maybe some people are just really out of shape? If Al Bundy can hold a remote up in the air for hours on end then anyone should be able to.
Just return it then. Theres someone out there right now that would love that wii.
I feel your pain. But you have to hang in there! If you have some friends warioware is a really good buy. (provided you aren't a hermit) and whats the problem with SSBB? Besides all that, the Wii is just in it's stage of companies doing gimmicky Sh** with it's innovative controls, once enough of their games flop for poor control schemes and horrid gameplay they'll wise up and start creating better titles. You'd only kick yourself if you sold it, blew it on drugs or something (haha) only to hear some epic game was released. If all else fails, and lest you have something that a girl (who doesn't look like a boar) would play/w you :)
Let me get this straight... you bought the Wii for RTS and FPS games? Learn to research a product before you shell out $250.
Your fault for not researching on the product. lulz at 'FPS sucks with the Wiimote cause your arm gets tired' You must not be very good :(
Why did you buy a system before researching its games?
I think the Wii mote absolutely sucks for FPS. Your arm gets tired holding the controller up.
You're doing it wrongI've noticed several people disappointed in the Wii saying this. It's as if Wii Sports has made everyone think you have to wave your hands in the air for every game.
