I was just wondering.... i have not played a game in this series since DBZ budokai 2 for PS2. I loved that game it was very very fast paced and had really lengthy combos like a 23 hit combo ending in a SS3 goku super ki blast... the transformation between SS ranks in battles was easy and fun.... So is DBZ BT3 anything like budokai 2? I want very fast paced action with alot of DBZ SS transformations and lengthy combos. or should i get BT2?Has anyone here played dragon ball z BT3 ...
First, between BT2 and BT3 choose the last one, they're the same thing, but BT3 has some more features and doesn't lack anything from BT2. If you like fast paced action, then you haven't seen anything on Budokai 2, this game is superfast, lots of transformations, endless characters.. It's pretty cool, even if it is for children playing with GOKU! I'ts one of my favourite! Budokai 2 really sucks! PS2 rules!Has anyone here played dragon ball z BT3 ...
I've played all of the Budokai and Tenkaichi games, and I would say out of the Budokai's B3 was the best, and BT3 is the best out of the BT series. Of the two I would choose BT3. If you use the Wiimote/Nunchuck controls it takes awhile to get used to, but I find it more fun(I was actually sore the day after I bought it, though I may of done something else, since alcohol was involved >.>) Anyways, their are alot of new combos that you can perform, and once you get them down, it's a great sight to behold. What's even better is that after you get in MAX power mode, some of your combos are extended even further, like adding a kamehameha at the end of your onslaught, which is very satisfying. You can, however, get out of these combos at certain points by hitting block right before a move hits you, and they can teleport behind you, but you can do the same thing immediately afterwards. It's really funny when you play with someone else that's got the timing down and you keep teleporting behind eachother.I guess i'll stop rambling, but bottom line is that it is fast-paced, and I would recommend this game.

A couple more questions if you will, is BT3 as deep of a game as B2 cuz there was ALOT of unlockables in that game. Also how do the transformations in between SS stages affect gameplay and what is the highest SS rank in the game?
its not as much stuff to unlock as b2 . A lot of stuff is unlock when u buy the game.the highest is ss4.
bump
Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is very different from Budokai 2,
