Nintendo could be unveiling several games for the Wii that will appear to its core fan base at this year's E3, according to comments from a company spokesperson.

Wii worth buying over Xbox?

Do you mean a Wii game similar to the DS ones? There's no chance in hell. The consoles are a place for spin-offs, like Pokemon Battle Revolution and My Pokemon Ranch. Some spin-offs are awesome, like Pokemon Snap, which make the lack of console Pokemon RPGs easier to accept. Aside from the graphical improvements and the potential for 3-D battles, there would be no benefit to making a console RPG Pokemon game anyway. The mobility also makes the games great, since over the course of a month a devout player could sink about 75 hours into that game. Possibly more.

Off topic- Why is it I always feel Im at a disadvantage while playing online in this game, I can shoot a whole clip into someones chest with a thompson and they won't die, when all the time Im killed with one or two shots, I just feel like Im playing against experts....or maybe Im just crap.

Some sort of VR will probably be in the future for the next Nintendo. Sure, graphics COULD get better but the public would fall for a VR Nintendo harder than the Wii could ever dream of. VR technology has been around for YEARS and a creative company like Nintendo could bring it to a home console at an affordable price. They are already half way there with the motion sensing. I believe that the graphics won't be up to par with what it could be (like theGamecube- Wii difference now) due to the cost of a VR system but it would be the best selling system in console history if priced right. Before anybody flames me I have to state that the Virtual Boy IS NOT VR. I'm talking about the full body motion VR technology.

You can try the game trading site goozex. They have it for 500 pts ($25 if you were to buy the points) right now if you click on the trading info tab on the game page, it says at this moment 13 people are requesting the game but no active sellers. If you jump in line it my say long wait then next thing you know you're matched with a seller. It could also take a few weeks, you never know. It is a used game trading site but for the most part the games I've received have been in good shape. It's also a great place to unload your used games you don't need anymore. If you're curious about the site, there's a signup link in my sig.

It had everything with it... If you find one with at least a case, then you're luckier than me. :P I was desperate and asked for is many times before hand, I bought it without a box.(or even booklet)

What exactly is the difference between plus and the non plus one?
You can try the game trading site goozex. They have it for 500 pts ($25 if you were to buy the points) right now if you click on the trading info tab on the game page, it says at this moment 13 people are requesting the game but no active sellers. If you jump in line it my say long wait then next thing you know you're matched with a seller. It could also take a few weeks, you never know. It is a used game trading site but for the most part the games I've received have been in good shape. It's also a great place to unload your used games you don't need anymore. If you're curious about the site, there's a signup link in my sig.

It had everything with it... If you find one with at least a case, then you're luckier than me. :P I was desperate and asked for is many times before hand, I bought it without a box.(or even booklet)

Pokemon Ranch EXPLOSION!!
So I was just playing Pokemon Ranch, and my camera was aimed at my flygon... The back of my head got an itch so I simply moved my hand holding the Wii remote to the back of my head and scratched the itch... And as i swung my hand back in fron of me, BOOM!! Everyone in the ranch went FLYING in the air and everything was spinning around and going crazy!! The Mii's eyes were so funny because they were so wide and huge because they were surprised they were flung into the air. :P There were sparkles and bubbles and random fireworks and a funny sound effect. So yah, it was pretty random and chaotic, when the whole ranch went in the air and everyone was spinning and flipping midair for like 15 seconds... Now I shake the remote frequently because its so funny! :lol: I hope that this isn't old, but I even took a picture for the people that havent seen this yet:![]()

If anyone wants to exchange M.Kart friend numbers send me a message. Other games I like are Ghost Squad, Smarty Pants, and Resident Evil 4. All good choices in my opinion

Hey, I use to play mario kart 64, so i got mario kart wii and I need some help with the wii wheel...how do i jump up in the air around turns so i can turn easier, becuase I am having one hell of a time trying to turn, also when i turn one way sometimes i turn the other, idk whats wrong...Should i just get the controller or something? It's been $20 for quite a while now. But I don't think I'd buy it unless I see it for like $10. Just something about the style of the game that is a complete turn off.
Anyone who hasn't purchased this game needs to pick this one up. Not only does this game have a decent storyline, but is very addictive and what I think is one of the best third-party games to release on Wii.
Now no one has an excuse not to buy it. This game was well worth the $40 I paid for it, let alone $20. Everyone, buy it now!

I think Best Buy has the best selection of Wii games, personally. Also, I'm sure you know someone who could let you use their credit card/debit card.

Noise when playing Wii games.
Do you have any games that your Wii seems to make an incredible amount of noise while playing them? My Wii makes a ton of noise when I play Boom Blox that I haven't noticed as much with other games. Are there certain games that happens to with your Wii?Noise when playing Wii games.

I got Boom Blox in a 2 for $40 deal at Roger's yesterday and it was so much fun that I played it for a total of about 5 hours. Actually I picked up 2 copies of Boom Blox because I'm hoping to get someone to trade me Mario Kart Wii or Mario Galaxy for the other copy.I totally think that Gamespot dropped the ball on the review for this game. The Wii will come with most everything you need to get started, but you will probably want to buy a second remote right away so you can play two player Wii Sports games. I would suggest that you purchase Wii Play, which comes with a remote, and also gives you a few more games to play. You will still need to buy a second nunchuk to go with the remote. A set of rechargable batteries would also be a good move. I feel those are the basic needs to have when you first get a Wii.

So I was watching the credits roll after I beat bowser, and mario returned back to mushroom kingdom. During the credits, my wii plug disconnected, and the wii shut off. Mario Kart... yea yea i know i know, '' been there done that, EVERYONE thinks this ''. but in all honesty, this is the ONLY game, in 15 years of gaming, that got my blood boiling to the point of returning it. I especially love how it seems like your items depend on what track you're on. Take star road for example ( i actually made it to 150cc.... i know, big accomplishment... [/sarcasm] ) i start out with the boost, everythings going alright, first jump, i get knocked off the course, last place. im thinking to myself, ''alright, i can make my way back up to first, lets just get some items'' after quite a bit of nothing ( they always seem to get me JUST far back enough to leave me no item boxes unless i actually stop and wait for it ) i finally get an item box, and what else should i get but a golden mushroom. im thinking, ''greeeeeaaat... i can fall off the course some more...'' so i use it very carefully, make my way to like 9th or something, and by the start of the second lap im in last again. getting bumped off of the map is the most frustrating feeling on earth. '' NO WAY, getting hit with a bunch of crap and not getting first is the most frustrating TC!!!'' i beg to differ good sir or madam... being completely shut out in a race and not even being able to pull off tenth because everyone else hogs the thin strip they call rainbow road, and its not like you can make up the points... i got at least a star ranking in every cup before this one, and got no worse than third in the three races before this one, its bogus... The game and i have ''broken up'' i traded it and got my resi fix (( REmake and RE: 0, plus geist... which isnt half bad )) and i must say i much happier peeing myself because im a scaredy cat... You know what's annoying???

Wow, I am the complete opposite of you. First, when I rented it, I was playing with just the Wiimote, and I though, meh. Then I switched over to the classic controller, and boy, I think it's loads better.As for your Rainbow Road problems, I always find myself near the back, fall off a couple of times, but its not that hard to get back to the top. Thats what I like about Mario Kart, if your in last, you'll get some good items to bump you back up. I'm not that great at the game, but I always make it back when I've been down near last.You just have to be patient, and once you get the feel of it, boy is it fun!P.S. Whenever I'm down I love getting the golden mushroom! Just drift around the corners on RR while going crazy on the boost button. Plus doing tricks and wheelies on bikes helps a lot, too.

I am actually really good at rainbow road, I mastered this level so much that when I faced them in 150cc I killed the computers I never fell of once. Even when I got hit by blue shells I was to far ahead for the computers to catch up.

i agree for the most part with tc. bottom line is: some courses are poorly designed, rainbow road and wario's gold mine for example, and the items are way too unbalanced for its own good. Those are rather major flaws, and yet Mario Kart Wii is still an overall great game. There are a lot of well designed tracks, numerous bikes and karts and characters to choose from, and with a rather organized online system.

Wow, I am the complete opposite of you. First, when I rented it, I was playing with just the Wiimote, and I though, meh. Then I switched over to the classic controller, and boy, I think it's loads better.As for your Rainbow Road problems, I always find myself near the back, fall off a couple of times, but its not that hard to get back to the top. Thats what I like about Mario Kart, if your in last, you'll get some good items to bump you back up. I'm not that great at the game, but I always make it back when I've been down near last.You just have to be patient, and once you get the feel of it, boy is it fun!P.S. Whenever I'm down I love getting the golden mushroom! Just drift around the corners on RR while going crazy on the boost button. Plus doing tricks and wheelies on bikes helps a lot, too.

I am actually really good at rainbow road, I mastered this level so much that when I faced them in 150cc I killed the computers I never fell of once. Even when I got hit by blue shells I was to far ahead for the computers to catch up.

i agree for the most part with tc. bottom line is: some courses are poorly designed, rainbow road and wario's gold mine for example, and the items are way too unbalanced for its own good. Those are rather major flaws, and yet Mario Kart Wii is still an overall great game. There are a lot of well designed tracks, numerous bikes and karts and characters to choose from, and with a rather organized online system.

I've heard nothing but good things about Brawl, but I don't see much to be desired in it. I'm also kind of bummed it left out my favorite character from Melee (Dr. Mario). How would you rate MoH:H2's online?
I rented MoH:H2 when it first came out and really enjoyed it, but I didn't have wifi at the time so I never got to try out the multi-player. I was thinking about picking it up so I could have a FPS on my wii that I could replay over and over again online. Do you think I should get it? Is it worth it? I would have said that it sucks, but it's pretty lag-free. However, I have compiled a list of things that are flawed in it. To see them, there in my review.
It's not xbox live or anything but it's good. Lag free, plenty of people to play at multiple skill levels, and no friend codes.The biggest problem is that there isn't a huge amount of variety in the levels available.

The online is pretty good, one of the best online systems for the Wii yet. If you really need an online FPS for the Wii, then get the game.

To see them, there in my review.[/QUOTE]Thing about FPS's is you have to learn to adapt to them wether you want to or not, Heroes is actually an easy one to adapt to, I know it's stupid but running in circles a bit is really helpful, as is using the sprint button to rush people. Some things though, bazookas do hurt the people using them, cover wouldn't make the game any easier, imagine you're there shooting from cover and somebody waljks up behind you, you wouldn't have a clue they were there and it'd be so easy for them to kill you. I do agree with the bullets to kill ratio, you can empty like an entire clip into someone and they still don't die if you miss a few bullets.
Easily the best online experience on the Wii! 8)

honestly, i love it. when my other games frustrate me, i go online and shoot people. :)not to mention, its lag free, has multiple modes, and EA nation has a cool interface. How would you rate MoH:H2's online?

It's not xbox live or anything but it's good. Lag free, plenty of people to play at multiple skill levels, and no friend codes.The biggest problem is that there isn't a huge amount of variety in the levels available.

The moment reviewers say the Wii version is the definitive version, and the will happen, I'm going to watch as System Wars implodes on itself.
