I need some help getting rid of game dat ...

Hey, I have about 40 blocks left on my Wii, and I was wondering, how do I take off games that I don't play anymore for more data? Like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, for example. Also, if I get an SD card, how does that work? If I have 0 blocks on my Wii and don't want to erase any game data, do I just save my data for, say, Dewy's Adventure on to the SD card and then upload every time I want to play a game?Because we are only a year and a half into this generation, and I don't want to constantly delete old data. Will the SD card thing work?Thank you very much in advance.I need some help getting rid of game dat ...
An SD card can be used for storing data, not reading from it.At least right now. I need some help getting rid of game dat ...
An SD card can be used for storing data, not reading from it.At least right now.
What exactly do you mean by that? Do you mean that it puts data on the card and then I have to upload it to my Wii or something before I play the game?If so, that's fine. There's some games I won't play for quite awhile that I'll put on there.
Basically it's like self storage, if you want to use anything on it, you have to move it back to yor wii.

Yes, you can just delete data if you want to; click on the tab at the lower left of the menu screen (Wii Settings, I think) and it will lead you to Data Management where you can choose to look at game saves and channels. If you're running out of room on your Wii, it's probably because of VC or WiiWare games more than game saves, though. If you erase VC games or WiiWare games, you can always re-download them for free. Really, it's true! If you delete game saves, you can never get those back, so you will lose all your progress. Most game saves can be copied to an SD card so you can move it back onto your Wii later if you still want to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance, for example. However, there are some game saves (Elebits is a big one) that will not allow you to copy them to an SD card. I don't really know why... but most game saves are only a few blocks, so erasing them doesn't get you much space anyway. What I do is keep a copy of all my VC games on an SD card, and then just put the ones I'm currently playing on the Wii until I'm done with them for a while. It's not ideal, but it works well enough...
