The Fake Futuristic Zelda game

I was watching that fake futuristic Zelda prank a while ago. Here's a link if you haven't seen it.I don't know if I'm alone in this, but....I thought it seemed like a really, really cool idea. Does anyone else think it looked pretty cool? The Fake Futuristic Zelda game

the idea is good, but not as a zelda game, could it be like turok (damn why acclaim lost turok)

I like the idea but I know a lot of people want nothing but the same from the Zelda franchise. I think it would be cool if Link got transported to the future and has to adapt to the new world.
It's interesting, but I don't think it's realistic at all in terms of what Nintendo will push the franchise towards.
it would be cool but i do have one minor problem witrh the zelda franchise, and that is, your in a world where people still use bow and arrows, swords, and lamps but (aparently) there is color photography? (See Wind waker if you dont believe me) yeah i know a litle off topic but it helps me prove my point that a ''Future Zelda'' would have Time machines during the colonial era and nuclear bombs during the dark ages.

[/QUOTE]The Zelda world is not realistic, why would you have a problem with a fictional world? It doesn't take place in any real time period.
Yeah it's real likely that Nintendo will make a futuristic world for Link with flying cars and all that other stuff while Link is carrying around a sword with bows and arrows :roll:
...im alitlle mix on that, on one hand it looks beautiful and gorgeous, on the other...its just not zelda, thats not what a zelda game is sapposed to beso if it was a zelda game = dont really likebut if this was an orriganal IP then HELL YES nintendo go for it!!

I never saw it.
i think it would work i mean a lazer bow would not be out of the question, i deffinitly think the control scheme zelda games typical have could fit a futuristic motercycle or something of that nature, maybe in the future link and zelda are folklore, and link returning would be like a big religious moment in this hyrule, in our society how do the most evil people reak havoc, politics, ganondorf could be a fake politician with malice intent to bring hyrule into the darkness. i dont know i do think it is a solid idea to kind of bring the zelda franchise into a differant light but they may not take a risk like that after ww (which i loved) because people still argue if that was a mistake. i mean if mario can go into space zelda can take place in the future

It's a shame so many people want Zelda to stay the same forever.
Personally if this would come out i wouldnt buy it and i think if it did come out that it would be the lowst seeling Zelda game ever

I don't understand how just changing the setting and story to futuristic could make the game so bad that you wouldn't buy it.

I dunno I think that would probably kill the very core of zelda games but who knows its Nintendo were talking about, heck if they managed to make a tubby plumber jump from planet to planet then a time traveling mute elf wouldnt be so difficult
For all you doubters out there remember this is Nintendo. They're developers are so talented they could make this work so well.
