How much will I enjoy this game if im not a fan of watching baseball, but i dont mind playing a baseball game.
Also what version would be better to get, MLB Power Pros or MLB Power Pros 2008 -- i know MLB Power Pros is $14.99 Canadian used at EB Games.A question about MLB Power Pros
Well if you don't care about the teams, players, etc, then the $15 version would probably be just fine, since i hear glowing reviews for that game.A question about MLB Power Pros
It's an extremely fun game; as long as you enjoy baseball itself you will most likely enjoy MLB Power Pros. The major features will most likely be the same for 2008. Its major change will be in shuffling around roster update so if you aren't into the teams themselves I'd recommend Power Pros.

Thats too bad -- Oh well, i can enjoy MLB Power Pros for now :)
Oh, btw i pretty much suck at this game -- do you guys manually control the fielding or do you guys just go with automatic? i've been trying manual and im finding it easier/more fun. Also, its like, super hard to get a home run! I've only got 2 so far.
You'll grow into the controlsI always go for a big swing because as you know, pixelated chicks dig the long ball.

lol -- nice. I wish they're was some kind of online mode -- ah well, I think $14.99 was a steal.
Oh you got a great dealI picked it up when it was 39.99 and I love it, 14.99 is a great price point for someone on the fence.

Season mode in 2008 will be very similar to 2007, but Success Mode is an entirely new story and they're including My Life mode which is a feature they've had in Japan for years but wasn't in MLBPP 2007. It lets you take a player through a 20-25 year career, and has lots of off the field stuff to go with the actual playing baseball as well. I'm excited about getting to play that. If you get into Power Pros, there is a great community dedicated to the game - http://www.mlbppworld.com
