Dont count the mario sports or mario party frantise. Only the platformers. I like galaxy but super mario brothers 3 is nextwhat was the best mario game

hmmmm...good question...but still its hard to decide...SMB was awesomebut SMB 3 either...then SMW...all are dam awesome...but i choose Super Mario Bros (it was my first game) mainly because it remembers me my childhood lol...

Mine is Mario 64. I never owned a SNES so when I first played the SNES versions of Mario for real (not 5 minutes at a friend's house), I had already beaten SM64 about 16 times. I kinda made the jump from the first NES Mario to Mario 64.
