Hello, does resident evil 4 significantly better on any one system? I want to play the best version of it.I heard the PC version was bad... is the Wii version second to any other console's ?RE4 on Wii vs other consoles
The Wii version has the best graphics out of any of em, seeing as how its a direct port of the GCN version of the game. With the added awesomeness of the controls on the Wii version, it is by far the best.RE4 on Wii vs other consoles
I've played the Gamecube version, the PS2 version and the Wii version. The Wii version contains the additional features of the PS2 version, with the superior visuals of the GC version. The IR controls are really great too. Wii version is definately the one you'd want to get, unless you have an issue with the IR controls.
Re4 on wii is my fav game of all time...no joke. You wont be let down, its only 30$
I actually think the Wii version is the best because of the control system and extras and the game plays brilliantly.
Wii version is better.
It has better controls and the PRL412 seeks the enemy and is slightly faster.
Not to mention you can use the Game Cube controller to play this game.

well i have the wii version and the Pc version....the wii version has the best controls, and GC visuals.....the pc version howvever, looks worse than the ps2 version BEFORE the patch..once you download the1.10 patch, and albert's texture patch, it easily looks superior to the other versions..also there is a patch for added mouse support...theres also a patch to show the 360 buttons during quick time events..if you want links to the patch downloads, ill be more than happy to provide them...if your playing the wii on a HDTV, make sure to set both the TV and wii to 4:3, because your HDTV usually shows all the nasty blur that SDTV's arent capable of showing, in 4:3 it will display in a letter box, but atleast the image wont be blurry..i dunno, id buy the wii version, cos the controls are amazin...if you have a plasma tv then you dont have to worry
Wii version is the best out of them all.
Stay far away from the PC version.
Yes, oh yes. The Wii version of RE4 is the best. I own the PS2 version and barely got into it. I picked up the Wii version and couldn't stop playing it. I love shooters on the Wii. They feel like they should and I pray that more good shooters are going to be made (light-gun compatable).
The Wii version has the most intuitive control scheme of all versions, the best overall audio-visual presentation, with the cool sounds coming from the Wii remote adding a bit more to the already rich sound design, and because of that it's also the most replayble version of this modern classic, especially for those who didn't play the previous versions.

Get the Wii version.
Best RE game to date, and it is def the best on the Wii. Nothing like being pinned back to the wall and actually pointing a gun at the zombies, it was good on the GC, but more intense feeling on the Wii.
