Ok I baught the nintendo Wi-Fi conector for my Wii, I tried to do it but I had to go through a bunch of crap, I wanted to knowis it easier to connect through Ethernet. Like does it just go direct or do I have to put in WEP's and stuff?Question about the Wii's ethernet
a wireless router is the best option.Question about the Wii's ethernet
well a wireless router is the best option cause its cheap, but i heard that ethernet is faster, still I'm not shure out this fact, but there is not an easier way in the ethernet, I believe both methods are complicated

What are your top 4 Brawl fighters and w ...
List your 4 top fighters and give a reason why they are your favs.Mine:1.Yoshi-I've been using Yoshi since the original game so I'm used to him, plus he has a great arsenal of tactical moves to use2.Donkey Kong-DK is an awesome fighter when it comes to an all out scrimage bettween only one character on a flat feild (final destination) some good K.O. potential as well.3.Toon Link-Although I really don't like Wind Waker or Phantom Hourglass, Toon Link is a fast character and sometimes he's great for his small height4.Falco-Falco is great for me because his moves are great for continually chaining together combos, but It's not good to be him when you are in a crowded/4 player fight5.Jiggly Puff-hey who said we had to enjoy using them in battle? Jiggly Puff is #5 on my list because it's fun to beat the crap out of him/her/it.What are your top 4 Brawl fighters and w ...
Number 1 is LucasNumber 2 is Snake Number 3 is Toon LinkNumber 4 is Meta KnightThis is written as my BEST to my worst according to my top 4 What are your top 4 Brawl fighters and w ...
1. Link2. Samus3. Donkey Kong4. It's between Kirby and Captain Falcon.
#1 Samus-Gotta love her quick moves#2 Snake-Cause its Snake :P#3 Bowser-Awesome power!#4 Fox-For his wicked speed
1.Kirby - Favorite since the original2.Toon Link - Like Link, but the alterations to his moveset are better tailored to my playing style
3.Metaknight - Like Kirby, but looks cooler and has a sword 4.Samus - Two awesome movesets5.Marth - He's like Roy who was one of my favorites in Melee
1.Link=I'm great with the projectile based character...plus he is just oh so awesome I feel cool as him...2.Mario=Personally seems to be the most balanced character in game...3.Yoshi=Just love him...4. Snake=Final smash nuff said...
1. Pikachu. I consider myself a good player that can actually USE Pikachu and not just spam his down B.
#2 is a tie.
2a. Lucas. Up B is amazing. Down B is useful. B is nice if you are able to land it. I just love watching the other 3 beat the crap out of eachother and spark them up from a distance.
2b. Zelda. I use Zelda. I rarely use Shiek. Her smash attacks are creepily powerful and when you land one, it seems to intimidate the enemy because of all the static sound effects and lights. Lol. Her side B is so much fun to use.
4. Poké–™on Trainer. (Ivysaur and Charizard mainly.) Ivysaur is pretty versatile. His B is just a jerk move but it's fun to use. Vine whip is fun. XD Charizard... Rock smash and flame thrower are my favorites. Great recovery. Squirtle... turned off because he's too fast and small to see.
1. Lucas- great smash and aerial attacks.2. Pit- hard to kill, good at racking up damage3.Toon Link- quick, strong attacks4.Marth-good range and combo ability
1. Samus- Always been a natural player with her.2. Wolf- Got good with him so I could use him as my Fox/Falco counter.3. Ness- Looked for a different character to practice with in Melee, and Ness had some powerful attacks. Got good with him.4. Link- My first character I've ever used in the Smash Bros. series. Got some powerful smashes.
Wolf - I love his deflector and mastered his advanced techsPeach - I like how she fightsLink - Always loved LinkCaptain Falcon - Falcon Punch, nuff said.
1. Meta Knight - has a cool sword, and pretty much a champ haha :)
2. Lucas - Good strong attacks, fun to use .3. Samus - Like to change between zero suit and power suit4. Wolf - Good balance of strength and speed, good combos
1. Pit
2. Samus
3. Mario
4. IkeI just like the way they control, their attacks, etc.
1. diddy kong2. mr game and watch3. snake4. luigi
1. Falco2. Fox3. Meta Knight4. Toon LinkI'm more of a speed type person.
1. Wolf- My favorite thus far has been Fox, but Wolf is loads better to me.2. Ganondorf- He may be slow, but if you get really good with dodging, he's one of the most rewarding characters. Also, using his side special to divebomb people off the edge is probably the funniest thing in the game.3. Sonic- Speed is goooooood.4. Mr. Game and Watch- There's little better than rapidly pressing the special move button and singing ''The Sausage Man'' as you pelt the other players.
1. Ike: Hard to pinpoint why I like to use him, it's basically because he's so powerful. He's a little on the slow side but his B attacks make up for hsi speed, and then some.2. Mario: He's like the all-around balanced brawler. My only beef is that his final smash is easy to avoid.3. Falco: I like that he's slower and stronger than Fox. It's a little hard for me to control Fox at times so Falco suits me better.4. Samus: Meh.. just an awesome moveset and an awesome final smash.
1. Peach - good moves and good recovery2. Wolf - always liked fox but I suck at controling fast players that well3. Zelda - powerfull knockback4. Snake - Love shooting people with all his stuff
1. Zelda-Enjoy most of her attacks and i seem to do very well with her.2. Lucario-Power :)3. Pikachu-He is so cute....lol...serious i like his lightning attacks.4. Link-Main i used on the first smash bros5. Mario-Fun to kick ppl

#1 Samus-Gotta love her quick moves#2 Snake-Cause its Snake :P#3 Bowser-Awesome power!#4 Fox-For his wicked speed
- Zelda = Pure Ownage
- Falco = My favorite Star Fox character
- Shiek = Fastest character I play with. AND if I'm doing bad, then I can switch back to my #1 in mid battle
- Ike = Cheap character I use when there are four people playing and I'm bored. GOOD smash attacks.

- Kirby 2nd main since the original powerful left B move thoufgt its a little slow... and HEY! it can use anybody B move!
- PKMN trainer i love pkm, usually use charizard, nce left B move and... u can switch to a fast mid or heavy character..
- Falco speed and power almost perfectly combined...thought it gets a lot of damage easily

Rock Band vs. Guitar Hero 4 wonderings.. ...
I'm a big fan of both the games, really... but I have a problem.Seeing as both the games are near 169 dollars, I'm going to probably have to decide between one of them.I really love what Rock Band's doing, but I know Guitar Hero 4 is so much better.Problem? I would buy both, but I don't know if Rock Band's drums or other periperals will be compatible with Guitar Hero 4.I really don't want 2 drumsets and 3-4 guitars laying around. I'd rather just have 1 set.Other problem is... Rock Band comes out in a few days, meaning I'd be tortured not to have it while waiting for GH4.So, what do you think? Rock Band vs. Guitar Hero 4 wonderings.. ...
Rock Band equipment won't work with GH4. Wait for GH4 because it will be much better. You'll regret it if you buy Rockband now. Get GH3 and GH:Aerosmith now to hold you over until GH4 releases.Rock Band vs. Guitar Hero 4 wonderings.. ...

Rock band does not have a 4 track midi sequencer for doing your own tracks. Rock band doesn't have 100% master tracks. Rock band's drums aren't modeled after a true digital kit. Rock Band's guitar feels very mushy in comparison with Guitar Hero.
The thing I've been holding out for is DLC. Guitar Hero 4 has it, Rock Band doesn't.No Brainer wait for Guitar Hero 4.

Im gonna go with the crowd and say GH4 over RB. Dont get me wrong RB looks good but GH4 looks better.
GH4. Better graphics, plus what everyone else said.
just wait for gh4. it will be woth it in the end
Wait for GH4. GH will not allow any of the RB peripherals to work (except maybe the mic). The GH drums have 5 pads (and a petal) - legit reason. The new GH guitar might have a 'slider' feature, which I'm sure would change the experience a bit. If you can only afford one, and you only own a Wii, save up for GH4 and pick up something else to keep your mind off of it for the next 6 months.

Can you cheat in Wii fit?
I wanna hear tips, guides, and cheats for this Wii fit thing.(Yes i'm serious) Can you cheat in Wii fit?
You want to cheat .. in Wii Fit?
Why cheat yourself.
Can you cheat in Wii fit?
whats the point in cheating in Wii Fit?seriously?
Here's the easiest wayDon't play the game but tell everyone you did.For added impact spray yourself with a spray bottle and say you just got done with it.
and the world gets a little sadder....
i detect strong pulses of fatness and laziness coming from this thread
This has rather struck my interest here. What, out of curiosity, do you want to cheat at? Seems a little odd, but I'm sure I'm missing something here. (seriously. This isn't a setup, but rather I'd like to give the TC the benefit of the doubt and assume I'm missing something here)
U wanna cheat in Wii fit??? stop eating McDonald's and u will see u weight 50 pounds less in 3 months without playing wii fit. Cheerz.
...you're joking... right? because im laughing... for real, honestly, i am, call me, and ill be laughing, for real, who cheats on a game DESIGNED to make you not cheat in things such as... you know... diet and excersize
go to a gym work out and tell people its from playing Wii Fit its not cheatting the game its cheating real life
Honestly what is the point in cheating in Wii Fit??
how do you cheat on an imitation exercise simulator?is this a joke?
You're only cheating yourself....
For added impact spray yourself with a spray bottle and say you just got done with it.
rofl
Why would you want to cheat in Wii Fit?, you'll only be cheating yourself. I own it and today is my 30th day, I haven't missed a single day and I've lost over 7 pounds. It's something to be proud of.
I couldnt see the point in cheating on a game that is designed to keep you fit.
At the title screen, if you swing the remote Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right then press A then B then A then B again, the female trainer will be topless. As a side effect though, Wii Fit will only tone your dominant arm in that mode.
I think this is pretty pathetic. A lot of people really want to get a wii fit and they are always in short supply. There are so many people who want to honestly try to lose weight and you want to cheat? My advice: return it. It's better off with someone else.
Man this is sad. I don't even think that it's possible to trick the simulator (well, with less effort than actually beating the game fairly). But yeah, you might as well return it.

Looks like they really put some effort into this, I like it. Hopefully it will not be a waggle fest. The concept is great and they seem to be creating a worthy game for such a title. You can tell they put effort when they put 4000 lines of dialogue unique to each character and opponent. I wonder if you can do 1v2 battles also?
why does count dooku look like hes from teh battle of the bands?
Unfortunately that interview told us almost nothing...except its all about lightsabers!!!

Count Dooku look so weird.:?
Ok, for those who havent been following, the game follows the same artistic(toon-ish) style as the movie. So yeah, characters dont look exactly like they do in the movies. I actually dont mind how every character looks except for Count Dooku who looks like a parrot or something. Anyways, the game might be pretty good. Isnt Krome Studios the same developer from the Wii.version of the Force Unleashed? This might turn out good then.

Those awesome motion control moments!
It's sad, for a console that is motion contoled, how little games give you that interaction feeling you only get with motion controls. I've only felt it during a few games like in Call of Duty 3 (the driving, pedaling, bomb setting ect), Metroid Prime 3 (the grapple beam with the nunchuk and turning the switches), Zelda: TP (sword swinging at first), and a bit in games like Medal of Honor: Hereoes 2 or Resident Evil (the running sequences). For me, Zack and Wiki, didn't give me this feeling at all.. that game just felt disconnected, I don't know why....And the same with Wii Sports (I know, wierd) Does anyone know what I'm talking about, that aesome feeling you get when you feel like you're in control of you movements? What games brought you that feeling? Those awesome motion control moments!
RE 4 and Wii sports right away.
Now that's worn off and it's just a pain to use the Wii-mote...I always look to see if I can use the other controllers to play the games
Those awesome motion control moments!
Alone in the dark looks like it has some cool motion control sequeces...
Yeah, it feels like your are ''disconnected'' in most of the games. I always get submerged in Corruption, it just did beautifully with the controls. I sometime's feel it in Kart with the Wii wheel. You know it's bad when you shake the GC controller to perform a stunt.
WiiSports bowling is still one of my favorite motion control experiences to this day.Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4 and Lostwinds also had awesome controls that really felt fulfilling. Oh, and I can't forget WarioWare... I didn't really keep the game long because I'm not a fan of minigames (it got good reviews so I gave it a shot), but the controls on it were very good.
The controls usually feel tacked on to me. There are very few games that actually make good use of the Wiimote.
SSX Blur: steering controls are amazing. Z%26W: some puzzles were immersive, mostly thoses about tilting.Galaxy: getting the stars in the pointer was like second nature and the shaking to spin was 1:1 so it was intuitive.Trauma Center: the whole experience is immersive. You have to be quick and precise.Elebits: just making the room a mess and throwing everything around was fun.Boom Blox, the Jenga like puzzles.Okami: Drawing the symbols with the pointer.Warioware: relies on your reflexes, nuff said.MP3: The overall controls, beside the grapple.Secret Rings: Wasn't perfect but still immersive.Mario Kart: Sterring wheel
I agree with MP3 and zelda at first, although I did find Zack and Wiki to often have really good controls.

You said Super Mario Galaxy as one, which clearly isn't. I agree that collecting the star bits with the remote is a lot better than running into them (and a lot funner) and smaking the Wii Remote... worked, it wasn't really imersive, only kind of in the manta ray surfering or the ball game but that's about it.EDIT: I'm not really talking about intuitivness or how well the controls work, I'm talking about that feeling of imersion when you're just like ''wow this is awesome'' and you feel like you're in control.
Metroid Prime 3 is the only game I've felt was truly immersive and intuitive. Most people may not want to flail their arms everywhere, but I'm waiting for that kind of game. I want to flail a whip, morning star, mace, etc...basically I want my Castlevania! Actually, I'm waiting for an FPS that takes advantage of the Balance Board and the Wii-mote.

I suppose that I get more easily immerged(sp?) by wii controls than the average Wii owner.I get what you mean through, it's just that to me little things like Galaxy shaking can get me in the game, it's not only about the swing motion, it's about the reflexe of doing it when right and when on top of that is that the result on screen is 1:1, that's where I get the immersion from.

Well if the intuitiveness is big and I like it, that means it is immersive to me. The wiimote was a big part of why I loved Galaxy. I said wow in all thoses games cuz of the controls.
I see...
E3 Wii

I'm dissapointed in the lack of DS games from Nintendo. Just one?! c'mon SSB DS, F-Zero DS c'mon Nintendo, but Wii is strogner than ever now. F-Zero Pikimin and Kid Icarus will rock. I'll kill for those games!!!
I'm sorry, i have to call fake. It says those games are from Nintendo of america, yet the starfox games were only called starwing here in the UK, and that was only the very first one on the SNES. Te rest might be real, but that appears fake to me.
